About the Ge-iSEE Health Lab

The Geoinformatics of Spatial and Environmental Health Laboratory (Ge-iSEE) is a dynamic interdisciplinary research group, jointly housed at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Toronto, in partnership with Public Health Ontario. Our research aims to advance the understanding of how environmental factors – such as air pollution, weather patterns, and the built environment – intersect with climate change to affect public health.

At the forefront of addressing global environmental challenges, we explore the intricate relationships between environmental exposures and health outcomes, with a focus on solutions that improve resilience in communities. Ge-iSEE is led by Erjia Ge, Jane Liu, and Lennon Li, who bring together expertise from diverse fields to drive impactful research at nexus of environment, health and geoinformatics.
